Vincent Riou on Pierreval forced to abandon the Trin'40

On Monday, April 27, Vincent Riou informed the race management that he was forced to abandon the Trin'40 due to jib problems that he could not resolve at sea.

He said: "I've had a problem with my J1 for the past two days. I did a quick fix on the way down to Spain. Unfortunately, it broke again last night. Nothing serious, but to avoid the risk of tearing it, I decided to withdraw from the race and head straight to Loctudy. Thanks to everyone for your support this season. See you very soon."
