Record fleet and global reach mark International Multihull Show 2026

by International Multihull Show 27 Apr 11:20 BST 22-26 April 2026

The International Multihull Show has closed its 2026 edition held from April 22-26 in La Grande Motte, France. This year's show featured 82 multihulls on display and more international exhibitors and attendees than ever before.

The show continues to expand its global reach, bringing together shipyards, designers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers across the full multihull ecosystem. The 2026 debuts offer a snapshot of the international nature of the multihull builder community:

  • Adventure Yachts: AY60 - Thailand
  • Aquila Power Catamarans: 50ES - China
  • Aventura Yachts: 37 Explorer, 56 MY - Tunisia
  • Earthling Limited: E 40 - Australia
  • Leopard Catamarans: 52, 53 PC, Sunsail 465 - South Africa
  • ORC: ORC 57 - France
  • Outremer Catamarans: 48 - France
  • McConaghy Boats: MC75 Jack - China
  • Rapido Trimarans: 40R - Vietnam
  • Simbad Yachts: 55 - Spain
  • Trimarine Composites: TRM 43 - Portugal

Organizers report a slight five percent decrease in overall attendance, offset by a record level of international visitors. The show welcomed guests from twenty-seven European countries, as well as North and South America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia. Building on this international momentum, the show plans to introduce a focus country for each future edition, providing deeper insight into the marine industry around the world.

A redesigned visitor route, combined with the opening of a third marina, offered greater access to both the fleet and the exhibitor village. Visitors particularly appreciated this year's new entrance location closer to the town center and the free electric shuttle service.

A diversifying market

The 2026 edition highlighted the continued rise of multihulls as one of the most dynamic segments in boating. The Multihull Design & Innovation Area brought together naval architects, startups, and equipment manufacturers to showcase the next generation of ideas shaping the sector. The strong presence of powercats, alongside hybrid and electric solutions, reflected evolving usage patterns and a growing focus on autonomy, efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.

"The show continues to evolve with the market," said Anaïs David, Director of the International Multihull Show. "Exhibitors report promising discussions and visitors have remarked on the quality and variety of the vessels and exhibitors."

Beyond the boats themselves, the show once again demonstrated its unique ability to bring together every stage of the multihull journey in one place. From first-time visitors exploring life on the water to experienced owners seeking refits, upgrades or new technologies, the International Multihull Show provided a comprehensive overview of the market, connecting buyers, builders, and industry experts.

Looking ahead

As the 2026 edition comes to a close, the International Multihull Show has reaffirmed its position as the leading international event dedicated exclusively to multihulls, both sailing and power. The show continues to play a central role in shaping the future of boating with strong engagement across the industry.

The next edition of the International Multihull Show will return to La Grande Motte in April 2027.
