2026 29er EuroCup 4 at Yacht Club de Mauguio Carnon - Day 3

by 29er Class 5 Apr 10:54 BST 1-5 April 2026

The 2026 29er Eurocup in Carnon reaches its thrilling conclusion today. After three days of challenging and shifty conditions, French crews continue to dominate the leaderboard, with Mostini / Bunel leading overall, followed by Madec / Gendrot.

The young talents Kiu / Polson have impressively climbed the rankings, securing a top position among the U17 male crews and asserting themselves as serious contenders overall.

In the female category, Lescanne / Kimbel lead, but the competition is tight. They are closely followed on equal points by the Danish crews Gramkov / Emmeli and Andersen / Sofie, making the final races a true showdown.

Salvatore / Rizzi lead the mixed crews, and Dayot / Cabon dominate the U17 mixed teams.

Yesterday, the fleets completed four more races, bringing the total number of races so far to twelve. The competition is intense, and every point counts as crews prepare for the final showdown.

Earlier in the morning, the Clean Walk Participative, organized by Océan Protection France and Ailerons, brought together sailors, families, and visitors to collect coastal litter and contribute to the BioLit scientific program, all while enjoying the fresh sea air and connecting with the local community.
