2026 29er EuroCup 4 at Yacht Club de Mauguio Carnon - Day 2

by 29er Class 3 Apr 22:39 BST 1-5 April 2026

Day 2 of Eurocup 4 delivered a full and intense racing schedule. After one race was recovered for the Red and Purple fleets, the Race Committee successfully completed four additional races for the entire fleet, testing both consistency and strategy in shifting, demanding conditions.

At the top of the provisional standings, the French team Madec / Gendrot takes the lead with a solid and consistent performance, also topping the male ranking. Close behind, Mostini / Allain confirm their strong form, while Kolka / Zmudzinski complete the overall top three.

Competition remains tight across all categories, with minimal margins and constant position changes throughout the day:

  • Female: Papin / Jouan
  • Mixed: Demurtas / Beretta
  • Under 17 Male: Kiu / Polson
  • Under 17 Female: Kelly / Laval
  • Under 17 Mixed: Dayot / Cabon
  • Top Over 18: Frobenius / Petersen

The depth and level of the international fleet continue to stand out, with every race playing a crucial role in shaping the leaderboard.

Looking ahead to Day 3, the action continues both on and off the water. Alongside another full racing schedule, sailors will take part in the always-anticipated Funny Race, bringing a more relaxed and entertaining moment to the event.

The day will also feature community-focused initiatives such as the Clean Walk Participative, organized with Océan Protection France, and the PumpFoil Contest, adding energy and engagement beyond the racing.

With conditions still evolving and the standings wide open, Day 3 promises to be a key — and fun — moment of the regatta.
