The 52 SUPER SERIES have signed a new partnership agreement with leading global high performance technical clothing brand Zhik which will see the company become official supplier of technical clothing.

This initial collaboration is for a three-year period, running at least until the end of the 2028 season.

The new initiative means 52 SUPER SERIES personnel will wear a new custom-designed and manufactured range of technical wear which will be specific to the demands of daily activities on an off the water at the range of different venues over the coming seasons.

Zhik's designers have taken feedback and ideas accumulated over recent years to specify the best, most comfortable and best performing materials appropriate for the mission critical activities undertaken by 52 SUPER SERIES staff during the course of the season which runs from early Spring to Autumn.

The demands of the media, broadcast, race course management, umpires and those primarily engaged in on- shore logistics roles have all been taken into account. From the need to perform during long days of extreme weather - midsummer heat, strong winds, torrential rain - to the usual mix of Mediterranean summers - Zhik have assessed the team's needs and are looking forwards to the 2026 season.

Zhik's philosophies with regard to sustainability very much align with those of the world's leading grand prix monohull circuit. From product inception Zhik aim to specify new materials which are better for the planet, and use textiles which are made from recycled materials wherever possible.

Recognising the global demand for official 52 SUPER SERIES merchandise, Zhik and the 52 SUPER SERIES have collaborated to produce a limited edition range of event clothing which will be available through a microsite on the 52 SUPER SERIES website and via the social media channels.

Harm Müller-Spreer, three times Rolex TP52 World Champion, 2023 52 SUPER SERIES Overall winner and shareholder in the 52 SUPER SERIES commented, "We are proud to enter the long term collaboration with Zhik which is the perfect fit to work alongside. Like the 52 SUPER SERIES they are committed to pure performance, a strong, authentic image and a having a major commitment to sustainability. And together now we take a great step together to create a range of exclusive merchandise which is a great step to open up the circuit and make it more accessible."

Johannes Polgar, European Sales Director at Zhik, said the partnership reflects a natural meeting of standards and expectations. "52 SUPER SERIES sets the benchmark for professional monohull racing, and that level of precision and consistency mirrors how we approach our own work at Zhik," said Polgar. "Supporting the people who make the circuit happen every day felt like an obvious fit. It's a partnership built on shared values, trust and a clear understanding of what high-level performance environments demand."
