World-Class Fleet Confirmed for the Royal Thames Yacht Club Pre-Cowes Regatta 2026

An outstanding fleet of IRC racing yachts is set to line up for today's RTYC Pre-Cowes Regatta, with some of the biggest names in international yacht racing preparing to compete on the Solent ahead of North Sails Cowes Week.

The entry list features an exciting mix of champions, offshore specialists and leading Grand Prix yachts, promising highly competitive racing ahead of the summer season.

Malcolm Offord's TP52, Braveheart representing the Royal Gourock Yacht Club, returning to Cowes after winning IRC Zero at Cowes Week 2025.

Van Uden, the Ker 46 with victories in the North Sea Regatta, the Cowes-Dinard-Saint-Malo Race and the Admiral's Cup Fastnet Race.

Fresh from one of the standout performances of the season is Khumbu. Guy Gillon's Botin 56 arrives after claiming both line honours and the overall IRC title in the 2026 Round Ireland Race, definitely a boat to watch!

Ino Veritas, James Neville's custom TP52, following a dominant victory at PalmaVela, line honour at the RORC Channel Race and success in the Sardinia Cup, the British team heads to Cowes in outstanding form.

Beau Geste, Karl Kwok's renowned TP52, with multiple world championship titles and major IRC victories to its name.

Pegasus 42, Malcolm Wootton's GP42, and Standfast, Simon Patterson's high-performance Fast 40. Both teams are well established on the Solent racing circuit and will add further competition to the regatta.

Racing gets under way today on the Solent with world-class sailors, cutting-edge race yachts and a highly competitive IRC fleet, the Pre-Cowes Regatta promises exceptional racing.
