Since joining Vortec Marine in 2022, RIB-X, the UK's leading designer and manufacturer of RIBs and superyacht tenders, has been quietly refining its expertise. Today, the brand proudly announces its official relaunch, showcasing a renewed focus on performance, innovation, and craftsmanship, with an expanded range of RIBs, tenders, and services for the leisure, superyacht, and defence sectors.

"RIB-X has always been synonymous with innovation, craftsmanship, and performance," said Ross Collingwood. "Under Vortec Marine, we're relaunching the brand stronger than ever, with a modernised offering that serves both leisure enthusiasts and professional operators alike."

"It is an exciting time ahead and our focus is on providing high-quality boats built to order rather than mass production, enabling client customisation to suit their needs and match the mothership," said Richard Burlingham, MD at RIB-X.

The relaunch introduces RIB-X's full 2026 range and services, including:

  • Superyacht Tenders - RIB and open tenders with inboard and outboard configurations for superyachts of all sizes, designed and manufactured in the UK by RIB-X.
  • Solas Tenders - A core range of SOLAS-approved tenders suitable for superyachts over 500 gross tonnes, produced in RIB-X's Lloyd's-approved UK manufacturing facility.
  • Custom Outfitting - Tailor-made solutions for superyacht owners and defence operators.
  • Refit & Maintenance - The newly launched Revive & Refit program provides expert servicing, repair, and refurbishment for all types of superyacht tenders.
  • Commercial & Government Solutions - Rugged, mission-ready craft built to meet the strictest operational standards.
Backed by decades of marine engineering expertise, RIB-X combines pioneering design with uncompromising quality, ensuring every vessel delivers performance, safety, and style at the highest level.

RIB-X has a strong heritage of innovation: The brand was the first to create an open SOLAS Rescue tender. RIB-X has also delivered tenders to some of the World's most famous vessels, including two SOLAS RIBs and an open tender to the iconic SY Sea Eagle III, the world's largest aluminium sailing yacht.

The 2026 relaunch marks a new chapter for RIB-X, reinforcing its position at the forefront of the UK marine sector while expanding its reach across domestic and international markets.
