Bartley Beast on 10th January cancelled

Storm Goretti has hit the Midlands hard and seen a significant amount of snow build up.

It was hoped that with the worst of it had passed and conditions would allow the Bartley Beast planned for tomorrow to proceed, however the latest site inspection shows more snow than hoped, and with freezing temperatures expected over night it is not possible to clear the site and ensure that the slip ways and wider site are safe and suitable.

Whilst this decision has not been taken lightly, the safety of all sailors and supporters is a priority and as such the event on Saturday 10th January 2026 is CANCELLED.
