The Trofeo Varadero Valencia has wrapped up its 2025 edition with an impressive turnout and three days of racing that gathered the most active crews on the Valencian yachting scene. Held over three events spread across the season, the event once again confirmed its status as a benchmark for cruiser sailing in the Valencian region.

Throughout the championship, the fleet raced in various ORC and Promotion categories, tackling the planned courses and delivering final rankings separated by mere points. The closing race, held last weekend, decided the overall winners in each division, rounding off an event shaped by determination, competitiveness and great camaraderie among the crews.

The winners of this edition were:

  • ORC 1-3: M10 Zas Sailing (1st), followed by MSC Sailing Team (2nd) and Majoche (3rd).
  • ORC 4: Lassal
  • ORC 5: Babe
  • Promotion: Radazul
What's more, the J/80 one-design fleet faced off in the Winter Series trials organised by the RCN Valencia, with Solgreen retaining her provisional leadership following a series of tightly contested heats.

"The Trofeo Varadero Valencia embodies the very best of water sports: teamwork, perseverance and a true passion for the sea. We're proud to back an event that brings together an exceptional number of sailors and contributes to the growth of local sports. We'd like to congratulate all the crews and thank RCN Valencia for their dedication to organising the event", said Katia Escobedo, Manager of Varadero Valencia.

With this edition, the Trofeo cements itself as a landmark event in the local sports calendar, promoting cruiser sailing and encouraging synergies between Varadero Valencia, RCN Valencia and the entire yachting community.
