The eight Class40 boats competing in the second leg of Globe40 have arrived in Réunion. It was a long, intense and demanding leg from Cape Verde, which these outstanding sailors completed with flying colours.

Now it's time for some well-deserved rest, exploring the island and repairs before the next big leg in the Indian Ocean.

Start of the third leg from La Réunion to Sydney on Saturday 22 November at 1pm local time.
