In the run-up to Christmas, Barcelona becomes a magical city that will set the backdrop for the international fleet of WASZPs on the water. The event includes spectacular racing from Barcelona International Sailing Center across a range of formats, and the WASZP Class Christmas party, which is becoming an annual fixture!

All sailors that have competed in four EuroCup events during the season will also enter the lottery for a new sail, which will be drawn at the Christmas party.

"In the winter months, Barcelona provides excellent foiling conditions, so we can expect some outstanding racing. My favourite thing about the venue is its proximity to the city centre, allowing sailors to explore Barcelona and enjoy all the city has to offer in the festive period. Barcelona 2025 will mark a celebration of the season and a chance for the WASZP community to come together and toast to the year." Martin Evans, Class Manager.

The EuroCup ranking is based on a sailor's best three EuroCup events in the season. In the 8.2 rig, Danish sailor Victor Melchoir is leading the ranking with a 4,4,1, but there are several sailors that have top scores in two events that will throw a final challenge at the title in Barcelona. In the women's division, Liv Häggström of Sweden leads Julia Gebhard of Germany, but with two EuroCups remaining, it is all to play for. Italian youngster, Jacopo Andrian leads the way in the 6.9.

Entries for the EuroCup Final in Barcelona are open here!
