Autumn Series 2025 at Medway Yacht Club - Preview

Finish the Season in Style! The Medway Yacht Club looks forward to hosting the 2025 Autumn Series, a five-race series.

Racing to be held on Sundays - 19th, 26th October, 2rd, 9th, 16th, November 2025.

All boats will be ranked using their YTC handicaps, divided into classes based on the entries received and prizes awarded accordingly. Prizes will also be awarded based on IRC handicaps where an IRC certificate has been submitted.

Free Moorings Available with Trot Boat Service Use of Medway Yacht Club, Parking, Catering, etc.

The final Race will finish with a prize giving lunch at MYC. Visiting boats very welcome!

Dazzling light air racing and moments to "roll the dice" Today with the shifty NE breeze and anything from 5 knots to 10 knots the course was set to minimise the no wind area in front of the café. A reaching start gave ample opportunity to practice time on distance. Posted on 22 Mar

SailGP starts was adopted After the cancellation of racing the previous week the prospect of racing Round 9 today was in the balance. The forecasted wind showed W 15 - 20 knots, no rain. For the course set in the rain and with a SW a SailGP option was adopted. Posted on 22 Feb
Medway RC Laser Club Winter Series Day 8
Repeat of shifty beats Eight boats on the water for round 8 of the Winter series. It was A rigs again in the bright sun with sunglasses on for the beat, initially into a S wind. The six knots gave all a big test for the start with the starboard end favoured. Posted on 9 Feb
Autumn Series 2025 at Medway YC overall
Finish the season in style Race starts were from a committee vessel with Philip Clarabut as RO. Philip provided courses that gave great variety, testing every owner and crew member. Courses took the fleets down river towards Queenborough. Posted on 18 Nov 2025
61st Medway Marathon
Musto Skiffs are normally very competitive in this event but it was not their day On the morning of Sunday 3rd August, the weather conditions were perfect with a South Westerly breeze to welcome our visitors to Medway Yacht Club's 61st Medway Marathon.
