Superyacht Australia is thrilled to announce the launch of the Sydney Charter Show, to be held for the first time in 2026 at Sydney's Jones Bay Superyacht Marina. Australia is home to the largest charter fleet in the Asia-Pacific region, making it the obvious choice to host the region's premiere Charter Show.

The exclusive, invitation-only two-day event, will be held on Sunday 22 and Monday 23 February, creating a dedicated platform to showcase the superyacht charter industry across Australia and the South Pacific, while positioning Sydney Harbour as a premier global charter destination.

Building on the success of five consecutive years of the highly regarded Superyacht Australia Soirée, the evolution into a full-scale Charter Show is driven by strong demand from vessels and brokers, to provide greater opportunities to engage with current and prospective clients.

Originally established to introduce guests to the world of charter and yacht ownership, the Soirée has laid the groundwork for the Sydney Charter Show. The new event will retain the purpose of the Soirée while offering an extended format, giving brokers and vessels more time to showcase yachts to existing and potential charter clients. Jones Bay Wharf will also be activated with exhibitors featuring luxury brand partners, destination partners and superyacht service providers.

The Sydney Charter Show will be co-located with the Australian Superyacht Conference, traditionally held on the Gold Coast in May. These two flagship events will be held immediately prior to Sail GP in Sydney, a period that typically sees increased superyacht visitation and international industry attendance. This will create an exciting week of marine industry events and activities in Sydney, which then leads into a big Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne!

The Charter Show will illuminate premier cruising destinations along Australia's expansive coastline and throughout the South Pacific and the vessels available to charter these regions. It will highlight the region's unique appeal with vast, untouched waters and extraordinary opportunities for discovery, often experienced in complete seclusion. Complementing its natural beauty, the region boasts strong tourism experiences, political stability and a rich diversity of cultures and heritage. With advanced infrastructure, extensive industry expertise and the capability to host and service the largest yachts, Australia and the South Pacific will be showcased as leading destinations on the global charter stage.

The introduction of the Sydney Charter Show marks an exciting new chapter for the regions superyacht industry, celebrating future potential of Australia and the South Pacific in the global charter market.
