Answering demand from clients for a regular and reliable monthly sailing option between Northern Europe and the East Mediterranean, marine transport and logistics specialist Peters & May has announced a strategic partnership with Briese Chartering.

The new collaboration enables Peters & May to secure at least one confirmed vessel every month on the southbound route from this summer, enhancing its service offering on the trade lane across its yacht shipping, commercial marine transport and global freight forwarding divisions.

The first sailing on BBC Bahrain, which took place in June, was a strong success, with over 13 yachts loaded across 6 ports, including both underdeck and on-deck cargo.

With access to 11 agreed vessels from the Briese Chartering fleet, Peters & May is delivering a dependable solution to this key market from July through October. Port stops typically include key locations across Northern Europe and the East Mediterranean—such as Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Southampton, Palma, Nice, Genoa, Lavrion, Marmaris, or Izmir.

Additional ports, including Gibraltar, Malta, Split, or Tivat, and others may be added to the rotation subject to demand—offering clients greater flexibility depending on cargo volumes and routing requirements.

Briese Chartering, part of the Briese Group, operates more than 30 vessels and specialises in delivering reliable shipping services from bulk cargo to project logistics.

Peters & May also has an existing alliance with Briese Chartering sister company BBC Chartering, with a renewed agreement from the Mediterranean to the U.S. due to commence in September.

Simon Judson, CEO at Peters & May, said: "We are pleased to confirm that bookings are now available on our southbound trade route for our first sailing on BBC Bangkok this July, thanks to the support of our new partner Briese Chartering.

"Important for both reliability and route stability, the new collaboration will support our service offering on this trade lane over the coming months, significantly enhancing our competitiveness and visibility for this market.

"Delivering new value to our clients, Briese Chartering provides us with the vessel tonnage and gear we require, with a fleet large enough to give us a reliable solution each time. We have the option to secure a full vessel option, building up cargo on and under deck.

"Critically, we can now confidently offer a minimum of one vessel per month on this route, which will be in position on reliable dates with a confirmed rotation, reinforcing our commitment to delivering a dependable service for our clients."

Guenther Siemens, Managing Director, Briese Chartering said: "We look forward to working with Peters & May to deliver the highest standard of services and transport solutions to customers. With the option to use our L-type and B-type panel of vessels, which are those equipped with a minimum 2 x 80 tons cranes, Peters & May will have access to 11 vessels, subject to their position at the time. I am confident our companies can join forces with a shared mission to provide trusted solutions and customer satisfaction over the coming months."
