Cumberland Charter Yachts is set to make a major impact at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, held from May 22-25. With a dedicated stand at Parkway 1, attendees can learn about the incredible experience of bareboat chartering in the Whitsundays.

But this year, the real game-changer is an exclusive collaboration with world-renowned power catamaran brand, Aquila. Cumberland Charter Yachts will also be at the marina, sharing the stand with Aquila Power Catamaran dealer Spectrum Marine.

Spectrum Marine has invited Simon Summerton, General Manager, and Charlie Preen, Managing Director of Cumberland Charter Yachts, to have a presence aboard their Aquila 50 and Aquila 42 in the marina during the show, and present daily information sessions on bareboat investing. This marks a significant milestone for both companies, presenting an exciting opportunity for potential boat buyers to explore the advantages of yacht ownership.

"This partnership is an incredible opportunity for both Spectrum Marine and Cumberland Charter Yachts," said Simon Summerton. "For buyers considering an Aquila, this collaboration allows them to see first-hand how placing their vessel in our fleet can provide a steady income stream while offsetting ownership costs. It's the perfect balance of financial return and lifestyle freedom."

By integrating charter ownership into the sales conversation, Spectrum Marine can introduce prospective buyers to Cumberland Charter Yachts as a trusted management solution. Owners who choose to enter their vessel into the Cumberland Charter Yachts fleet can enjoy the perks of owning a luxury catamaran while earning income when they're not using it.

Jason Chipp of Spectrum Marine sees this collaboration as a strategic move, building on international successes. "We've seen strong demand overseas from buyers who understand the financial benefits of placing their Aquila into charter. Cumberland Charter Yachts offers similar opportunities in Australia, providing prospective owners with a proven model that combines boat ownership in arguably the best cruising grounds in the South Pacific with strong revenue generation. With the vessel professionally managed, owners can enjoy a hassle-free ownership experience."

The partnership further solidifies Aquila's position as a premier choice for power catamaran enthusiasts while reinforcing Cumberland Charter Yachts' reputation as the leading bareboat operator in the Whitsundays. Visitors to the show will have the chance to meet Simon and Charlie aboard the Aquila 50 and Aquila 42, gaining expert insight into yacht ownership, charter returns, and the lifestyle benefits of having a boat in a premium charter fleet.

For more information, visit Cumberland Charter Yachts at Parkway 1 during the show, or book an appointment in advance to speak with Simon and Charlie.
