The highly anticipated 6th TYBA Yacht Charter Show is set to take place from May 9 to May 13, 2025, at D-Marin Göcek, bringing together top industry professionals, luxury yachts, and an exciting program of networking events, competitions, and seminars.

As one of the Mediterranean's most prestigious B2B yacht charter events, the TYBA Yacht Charter Show will feature 50+ luxury yachts, some reaching up to 80 meters, and welcome over 350 attending brokers from around the world. Against the stunning backdrop of Göcek, one of the world's most picturesque sailing destinations, the event promises to offer unparalleled business opportunities and an unforgettable experience.

A historic milestone for TYBA

Noyan Mutlugil, TYBA Vice President and Chair of the Yacht Charter Show Committee, reflects on the event's evolution:

"Before TYBA took over this legacy, the show had been held in Marmaris for 36 years. Now, we proudly continue this tradition and celebrate the 6th TYBA Show and over all 42nd edition of the charter shows in Turkish yachting. This year marks a historic milestone, as an 81 meter superyacht built by Oceanco will participate in the show for the first time. The Dutch-built yacht will journey from the Caribbean to be showcased at our event. Additionally, a Turkish built 55-meter superyacht will also be featured, highlighting the strength of our domestic industry."

Event highlights:

  • An impressive fleet: 50+ luxury yachts and their professional crews will showcase their talents, hospitality, and charter potential.
  • Expanding industry networks: Last year's attendance of 350+ brokers and professionals is expected to be surpassed. For details, visit:
  • Gourmet theme: The Chef Cook-off is one of the highlights of the TYBA Yacht Charter Show. It's an exciting event, blending the rich culinary heritage of Turkey with the creativity and skills of our most talented maritime chef

The vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Istanbul is world-famous for its street food. Our challenge for participating TYBA Yacht Charter Show chefs is to recreate their favorite culinary city encounters and bring them to a new, gourmet level, suitable for presentation on a luxury yacht.

The smells and tastes of Istanbul include stuffed mussels, kokorec (grilled intestines), bulgur-wrapped koftes, doner kebab with melted butter, fish directly from the Bosphorus (stuffed in fresh bread with onions and tomatoes with seagulls flying above), and crunchy toasted molasses-dipped sesame simit with soft cream cheese... Let's not forget hot orchid root drinks, and juice from pickled vegetable stalls, as well as tantalizing soups such as ''The Bride Made It'', and tarhana field soup.

The judges will be considering originality, technical difficulty, presentation, and flavor. It will be interesting to see how the chefs transform everyday street food into something refined, while still retaining the authentic essence of the dishes.

First, second and third place prizes will be awarded, as well as an honorable mention and the Yacht Connections award for most welcoming crew as well as best table presentation.

  • Celebrating Excellence in Service & Presentation - Awards will be presented for the Best Welcoming Crew, Best Presentation, and Runner-Up.
  • 2nd Annual Best Cocktail Competition - Bartenders will showcase their creativity in three categories: aperitif, after-dinner, and long drinks, pushing the boundaries of mixology with innovative themes and ingredients.

Insightful Industry Seminars:

  • History of Turkish Yacht Building - From Sponge Diving Boats to Mega Yachts (Sinan Özer, Owner of Aegean Yachts)
  • TYBA Contract: An Overview of Two Years of Usage (Alev Semiz & Noyan Mutlugil)
  • Storytelling in the Yacht & Charter Business - Leveraging Marketing for the Turkish Industry (Michael Frohoff, Kruger Media)
  • Destination Türkiye - Classical Routes & New Cruise Areas (H. Serhan Cengiz & TBA)
  • Maintenance & Drydocking Facilities in Türkiye (Tersan Shipyard)
  • Anatolia - Asia Minor Grapes & Wine-Making History (TBA)
