BOATEE: The Italian startup redefining boating with an innovative electric outboard motor

by Boatee 24 Mar 15:34 GMT

Recreational boating is undergoing a revolution, and BOATEE is leading the charge. This young Italian startup has just unveiled its first product: an innovative electric outboard motor designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable and high-performance solutions in the nautical sector. Combining cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and environmental awareness, BOATEE offers a concrete alternative to traditional combustion engines.

At the heart of BOATEE's innovation is its 1300W electric motor, capable of delivering more than 50 minutes of runtime at maximum power and 2.5 hours at 50% power. Lightweight (just 6 kg) and powered by an external LiFepo4 battery, the outboard fully recharges in only 2.5 hours. The materials used, including aluminum and recycled plastics manufactured using additive processes, highlighting the company's commitment to sustainability.

But the advantages don't stop there. The BOATEE outboard guarantees zero emissions, reducing both air and noise pollution for a more eco-friendly boating experience that respects marine life. It also requires minimal maintenance thanks to its simplified mechanical design compared to traditional engines. User experience is further enhanced by an integrated touch-screen, allowing complete control of the motor.

Behind this project is a team of young Italian entrepreneurs who have turned their passion for the sea into an innovative business. "We wanted to create something that's accessible, sustainable, and beautiful to look at," says BOATEE's founder. "We believe the future of boating is electric, and we want to be part of that change."

BOATEE is not just a product but an invitation to rethink how we experience the sea. A startup challenging industry giants with a clear vision: making boating more sustainable, inclusive, and modern.
