by GOST 25 Sep 2024 17:25 BST

GOST® (Global Ocean Security Technologies), a world leader in marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems, announced today the GOST Apparition IDP Hardwired/Wireless Security, Monitoring and Global Tracking System has been awarded the Product of Excellence Award by the 2024 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Conference and Expo in the category of Remote Vessel Monitoring Systems. GOST has won this category every year since it was created seven years ago.

The Product of Excellence Awards are voted on by professional marine electronics installing NMEA dealers, qualified NMEA technicians, marine electronics trade members and fellow marine electronics manufacturers.

The Apparition is an all-in-one security, tracking and monitoring system. It is designed to protect the vessel whether an owner is aboard or afar, provide complete situational awareness, and send alerts of all events from the boat.

"This continued recognition from the NMEA members as this category continues to become more competitive means so much to us, as it always has in the past," said Brian Kane, CTO and Founder, GOST. "Since our inception, we have held ourselves to a high standard of excellence to protect and defend the boat from loss, and the Apparition system is the perfect representation of that standard. Thank you to the members of the NMEA for their support over the years."
