Northrop & Johnson is excited to announce the addition of James Rayner to our team as a Yacht Broker. Based between Monaco and London, James brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for yachting to his role.

James is particularly adept at guiding new yacht owners through the process, ensuring they find a vessel that perfectly aligns with their lifestyle and yachting aspirations.

James' journey began in Jersey, Channel Islands, where his life was deeply connected to the water through activities like racing with the local sailing club, canoeing and water sports. His professional career started in Investment Banking in London, but his love for the sea led him to pursue a career in superyachting.

Completing his Yachtmaster certification, James spent three years navigating a Challenge 67, covering over 40,000 sea miles from the North Sea to the Caribbean. His career in yacht sales has taken him across the globe, with time spent in Asia, the South of France and London.

James is driven by the unique experiences that yachting offers, from the destinations and privacy to the unparalleled service. He is committed to helping his clients make the most of their free time by creating unforgettable memories on the water. James' interest in staying abreast of sustainability advances encourages him to stay informed on the latest technological advancements aimed at making yachting more eco-friendly.
