On the 9th July 2024, Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division took delivery of Codecasa's Hull F242, Classic Yacht 24: M/Y Vero.

Project management of the vessel, from the pre-contractual phase to the present, has been expertly handled by Daniela Duck and Sara Maggi from Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division, alongside Carmen Lau, senior advisor at Camper & Nicholsons Asia.

Lau, responsible for introducing the client to the fully-custom project in 2021, reflects upon the process: "From the client's first glimpse of a concept yacht in a magazine during Covid to the moment we took delivery of this stunning vessel on the client's behalf, it's been an incredible journey. As the broker and owner's representative for this project, I am thrilled to have collaborated with colleagues across various departments in Camper & Nicholsons to deliver a seamless experience for our clients. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Ennio and Roberto from the shipyard for their support. It is truly exciting to welcome this special gem, designed by Luca Dini and built by Codecasa for the Asia Pacific."

Built in all aluminum, Vero's design was penned by Luca Dina Design & Architecture with the view to deliver an ultra-stylish, yet functional vessel. The team were able to successfully blend classic structural lines and vintage touches of mahogany with state-of-the-art and powerful technology, exemplified by her 1550hp MAN V12 engines, 25 knots top speed, and a range of over 2,000nm.

CEO of Codecasa, Ennio Buonomo, comments "The construction of this yacht was a masterful collaboration, led by the Codecasa Shipyard Builder's Team under the guidance of Project Manager Roberto Dalle Mura, with the invaluable support of Gabriele Codecasa and Matteo Buonomo.

He continues, "We wish to thank Carmen Lau, [...] for her valuable support and great professionalism during the construction of Vero. The Codecasa Family wishes to thank all the people involved in the creation of Vero and to congratulate the owner; wishing him many happy moments with his new jewel".

Further to the sale, project-management, launch, and delivery of Vero, Camper & Nicholsons are honored to have provided additional corporate services, promising a truly holistic yacht ownership experience for the client. These include the flagging of the vessel, insurance provision, and continued yacht management; the last of which will be handled by Shek Fung; fleet manager at Camper & Nicholsons Asia.

"The construction of Vero was an exciting journey that our Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division followed from pre-contract to acceptance and delivery. Our passionate team worked hand in hand with Codecasa, who built a unique 'pocket superyacht'! Now, it is great to see that our Yacht Management team will continue assisting the owner in fully enjoying his brand-new masterpiece," states Daniela Duck, Head of New Build Division - Camper & Nicholsons.

Vero plans to depart the Mediterranean shores in the coming weeks to make her homeward-bound voyage to Asia, where she will be keenly awaited.
