Itchenor Keelboat Week is here once more! 23 XODs will take to the start line, for what's to be a hotly contested week, with light winds forecast it could be all to play for!

Boats to look out for this week.

  • X166 Swallow sailed by Ben McGrane, a former Cowes Week and Classics champion and visiting from Hamble.

  • X58 Madeleine sailed by Penny Fulford Runner up at Cowes week and Poole week last year, this week's forecast puts them in strong contention.

  • X50 Xcitation sailed by Roger Yeoman, always firmly in the running and this year is proving very hard to beat! Could this finally be the year?

  • X91 Astralita sailed by John Tremlet who needs no introduction. The multiple champion of, well, just about every week-long event there, is in the class, hasn't done that much sailing this year, but you can be sure when the gun goes he'll be right there!
Outside picks could be:
  • X26 Catherine former winner of the week but lack of sailing due to Colin sailing round Britain could be their downfall.

  • X188 Princess Jalina with Steve Lawrence crewing for David Palmer this week. This might be an underdog for the week... time will tell!

  • X192 Felix sailed by Peter Baines, also from Hamble, should never be forgotten.
