Coming up at Northampton SC in just under two weeks is not just another Inland Championship but a three-way event to attract Phantom sailors from around the country.

The 'Northampton Treble' consists of the all-important 2024 Phantom P&B Inland Championship, a two-day event hosted by Northampton Sailing Club. Alongside that, the weekend also incorporates National Super Series Round 3 and, if that's not enough, the weekend is proceeded by a popular training day for all levels of sailors.

Kindly Sponsored by P&B, with the experienced race team of Neil Barford and Paul Busby at Northampton SC.

Don't miss out, book online. Online closing date 12th June entry for early-bird discount.

National Super Series

The Series comprises of a single 2-day event based in each of the five regions across the country. Event 1 was presented Stone SC followed by Downs SC. Northampton SC marks the third event of the series. Three out of the five events to count - if you haven't attended any events so far, you can still qualify for the overall!

The series encourages inter-regional sailing and provide Phantom sailors with the opportunity to compete against new faces from the whole country.

Training Day

The recent Class Association Questionnaire requested more training days so each region is running a full training day with one of their regional events. Open to all abilities and skill levels, the training focuses on boat set up & tuning alongside on the water coaching. Video will be used and the day will be wrapped up with a debrief in the cub house. They are really good days and a valuable way to fast-track your progression in the class as well as meeting other sailors in a fun environment.

FREE to Class Association members, it will be provided by three leading Phantom sailors with years of experience in the class. Current Inland Champion Rob Cook, John 'Titch' Wayling and 'Magic' Mike Webster.

That's a lot of knowledge to tap into, don't miss out...

Details are now set and the club are excited to host the Phantom Training Day commencing at 11.00am. on Friday 14th June 2024

Northampton Sailing Club is a great venue - 650 acres of water, set in Northamptonshire's beautiful surroundings. Camping and full catering is available on site over the whole long weekend with a bookable evening meal on Friday and Saturday evening.

Northampton Sailing Club are looking forward to welcoming sailors for this festival of Phantom Sailing.
