Fossil Free Marine, a leader in sustainable boating solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its new brand, Secfuel.

This evolution marks a significant step in the company's mission to provide innovative and eco-friendly fueling options for the marine industry and beyond.

Introducing Secfuel

Secfuel continues the legacy of Fossil Free Marine by offering unmanned, self-service marine fuel stations. These stations deliver the same safety, efficiency and convenience as traditional land-based fuel stations, now under a new, dynamic brand identity that more clearly conveys the unique product benefits. The brand Secfuel harnesses the company's groundbreaking, patent-pending and design protected technology that delivers a new level of secure fuel storage and distribution, even in the most sensitive environments like freshwater reservoirs.

Commitment to sustainability

Fossil Free Marine has been dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of boating through advanced fuel infrastructure solutions that enable distribution of modern renewable drop-in fuels (e.g HVO100/XTL) to both pleasure boats and light commercial vessels. Secfuel will uphold this commitment, further driving the adoption of sustainable marine fueling solutions.

Fossil Free Marine as an impact initiative

While the Secfuel brand will lead in marine fuel solutions and other new verticals, the brand Fossil Free Marine will remain active as an impact initiative. This initiative focuses on enabling the decarbonization of pleasure and light commercial vessels in key markets, where Fossil Free Marine has already established itself, continuing its important work towards a more sustainable marine environment.

A unified vision

"Our transition into Secfuel represents our ongoing dedication to innovation and sustainability in the marine fuel sector," says Niklas Sjöö, co-founder and Chairman of Fossil Free Marine. "We are excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it brings to further revolutionize marine refueling and fulfil our original vision that lay the foundation for Fossil Free Marine."
