Exploding Fish makes a splash with Sam Allen Wholesale distribution deal

by Sam Allen Wholesale 1 May 2024 22:56 BST

Australian fishing is about to get a whole lot more explosive (and productive) thanks to a new distribution partnership between innovative rod holder brand, Exploding Fish, and the nation's leading Australian owned trade supplier of marine products, Sam Allen Wholesale (SAW). With SAW becoming the sole Australian distributor, this exciting collaboration will see Exploding Fish's revolutionary rotating rod holder range become readily available throughout Australia, with a global rollout planned for later this year.

The brainchild of passionate Cairns fisherman Jim McQuade, Exploding Fish rod holders are designed to empower anglers to achieve the perfect rod positioning for any fishing scenario. With a simple push of a button, fishers can rotate their rods 360 degrees at 5 degree increments, ensuring optimal angles for prevailing winds, tides, currents, and wave action. "I wanted to create a product that made a real difference on the water," says McQuade. "Exploding Fish allows users to maximise their catch potential with effortless adjustments, whether they're trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or battling a trophy catch."

Sam Allen Wholesale, renowned for its commitment to top-quality marine products, recognises the potential of Exploding Fish. Jim McQuade found SAW to be the ideal partner for his innovative product: "I was looking for a highly respected Australasian distributor that was well established and had lots of credibility," says McQuade. "I questioned a number of Australia's top boat manufacturers and retailers and they virtually all recommended Sam Allen Wholesale."

David Allen, National Sales and Product Development Manager at SAW, agrees that Exploding Fish is a perfect fit for their Bluewater Division. "We are very excited by the opportunity to distribute this breakthrough product, which is already proving incredibly popular within the fishing community," says Allen. "Jim has created a truly innovative product that will be the perfect complement to our world-renowned product range."

Designed and engineered in Australia, Exploding Fish rod holders are built to withstand the harshest marine environments. Manufactured from high-grade 316L stainless steel, they boast impressive durability and come with a reassuring 5-year warranty. Offered in three sleeve angles (0, 15, and 30 degrees), they cater to a variety of fishing styles.

Availability Through the SAW Network

Fishing enthusiasts can now experience the fishing advantage of Exploding Fish rod holders. The range is readily available through Sam Allen Wholesale and its extensive network of leading marine dealers. Stock will be available from late July.

Note: distribution through SAW excludes the South Pacific and New Zealand.
