A gentle force 1 southerly for this race, in contrast to the previous day. The running start was going well until everyone arrived together at the first mark, with the leading boats stationary and the ones behind closing up.

After the melee Rodney Tidd came out first in his OK followed by Bernard Clark and Spike Turner also in OKs.

The weather was not to the Lasers' liking being so light and they fell back after initially challenging the OKs.

The race was shortened to one lap.

1st Rodney Tidd, OK
2nd Bernard Clark, OK
3rd Simon Turner, OK
4th Peter Turner, OK
5th Mark Beck, Laser

Results for the 3 day series, with 20 boats competing overall:

1st Alex Scoles, OK
2nd Rodney Tidd, OK
3rd Bernard Clark, OK
4th Simon Turner, OK
5th Peter Turner, OK
6th Colin Hargreaves, Laser
7th Luke Cornwall-Jones, Laser
8th Alex Smith and Paul Beachell, Sharpie
