The sun came out for the weekend of the Laser Open at OSSC, making the sea sparkle. Held over Saturday and Sunday 27 and 28 July, with a very civilised start time of 10am on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, the fleet enjoyed a day 'at sea' on Saturday and in the harbour on Sunday.

Saturday provided some great sailing with Chris Ellyatt taking line honours in both races, with Molly Sacker second in race 1 and Adam Anthony in race 2. Ash Deakin took third in both races.

Sunday was a lighter wind and it was decided to race in the harbour. Jonathan Jones took line honours in both races, with Ask second in race 3 and his sister Lucy second in race 4.

Thanks to Race Officers Andy and Will Turner and safety crews Paul and Ben Goakes, and Bernard Clark/Vince and Dan Phillips.

Jonathan was the overall winner followed by Chris and Ash. Molly was first female helm, followed by Lucy.
