Next weekend, Valencia Mar becomes the global hub for windsurfing. More than 60 participants from different parts of the world will gather in the capital of Turia for the second edition of the Windsurfer Valencia Mar Festival (November 24-26).

The event, which continues to grow in the number of participants, will also introduce a new youth category in addition to the existing male and female categories. Among the participants, we find the Italian Andrea Marchesi, the champion of the last edition held in Valencia Mar and the champion of Italy and Europe in 2022 in the light category, the French Eric Belot, the world champion in 2022, or Fernando Lamadrid, the European champion in 2022 in the heavy category, among many others.

Participants from Argentina, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and, of course, Spain, will converge in Valencia to compete in this international regatta. It's also worth noting the presence of Francisco García and Jesús Clavero, members of the Valencia Mar Sailing Club, which, thanks to the competition, is growing in the number of athletes dedicated to this class.

The Valencia Mar Sailing Club, in collaboration with the Valencian Sailing Federation, the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, and the International Windsurfer Class Association (IWCA), will be in charge of organizing this international event in the waters of Valencia from November 24th to 26th.

Valencia Mar, the city's private marina and the venue for this windsurfing festival, is located just a few meters from the beach and only 10 minutes from the city center. It is a marina managed by one of the leading companies in the sector, responsible for managing reference marinas in the Spanish Mediterranean such as Puerto Portals in Mallorca, Marina Vela in Barcelona, or Marina Formentera. Currently, it has full occupancy of its berths and a waiting list of over 100 vessels.

Among its services, the marina also offers covered parking, electricity up to 600 amps, WiFi, cable internet, waste collection, marina services seven days a week, laundry, artificial beach, bars, and shops, making it a trendy space available to the city of Valencia.
