We are thrilled to share exciting news from Metstrade 23, where our Oceanvolt's HighPower ServoProp 25 has achieved a remarkable double victory, securing top honors in both the Propulsion & Dynamics Category and the coveted Overall DAME Award 2023!

The jury, consisting of eight design and user experts, had over a hundred strong submissions to consider this year. However, out of the 53 nominees from 19 countries, their attention was captured by the exceptional HighPower ServoProp 25. The 25kW electric saildrive, designed by Finnish electric inboard pioneer Oceanvolt, redefines the landscape for 45-70ft sailboats, offering a reliable and exceptionally quiet option for electrification.

The jury's commendation highlighted the excellently conceived and engineered nature of the HighPower ServoProp 25. Its controllable pitch propeller technology ensures maximum efficiency for propulsion and hydrogeneration, capable of returning up to 5kW of power when the yacht is sailing at 10 knots. The design consideration for minimizing installation time with an integrated motor controller and liquid cooling system, coupled with operation from a 48V battery pack, demonstrates Oceanvolt's commitment to safety and efficiency.

The saildrive's unique features, such as the option for installation with the propeller facing forwards for greater efficiency or backwards, composite leg construction, and the ability to change the saildrive oil from inside the boat without substantial lifting, simplify maintenance for blue water yachts.

In summary, the HighPower ServoProp 25 stands as an exemplar product, pushing the electrification agenda toward more far-reaching horizons. With design effort apparent in every facet, it is a perfect and deserving winner of the DAME Award 2023 against a strong field of category winners.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this achievement at Metstrade 23 by visiting Oceanvolt's stand at 01.682 or exploring Hall 13 to witness the HighPower ServoProp 25 live. This is an opportunity to experience firsthand the future of marine propulsion.

Thank you for your continued support.
