Seven sailors with a full range of abilities turned up on Saturday to a light breeze. After a short briefing the fleet went out to light northly wind. With 5 short races and one long one in wind building to 20 knots, the fleet got a proper workout. So the fleet retired to the lecture room to discuss the good, bad and impossible points from the day.

Saturday evening entertainment was watch the rugby/ Andy Tarboton jump around the Pascoe lounge. Lester Nobel and Dan Vincent took great pride in winding him up about the score. Unfortunately Andy got the last laugh 3min from the end.

Day 2 was Portland harbour at its best. Sunshine and 15knots. The fleet grew to twelve and nine of them were using the new mainsail. Generally the fleet agreed they felt quicker on the new sail and it was easier to set.

After 3 hours on the water a big rain shower went over Weymouth killing the wind and shifting it 40degree right so the fleet head back to the lecture room for a debrief. Everyone was very open about their setting and tips to get the boats around the course. Sailors through out the fleet shared and learnt lots this weekend.

Next year we plan to run one a month, from March to the Worlds. Everyone welcome.
