Numarine sell third 40MXP superyacht

by Numarine 11 Oct 2023 10:36 BST

Numarine announces the sale of a new construction 40MXP. The model was sold by Denison Yachting's broker Alex G. Clarke who represented the shipyard, while Jeffrey Stanley of Gilman Yachts represented the Buyer.

The 40MXP-03 features an innovative open transom with pool, upgraded MAN 900hpm IMO Tier III engines, and a full displacement steel hull. She has an impressive range of 5,000nm.

"This is the eleventh Numarine sold by Alex G. Clarke and Denison Yachting since partnering together over three years ago," said Omer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine. "We are very pleased with our fruitful cooperation and will develop it in the future. Our expedition yachts, in turn, proved they are among the best in the industry."

The aft lazarette area of the 40MXP-03 will be a dive center with custom storage for scuba equipment, a compressor, masks/fins, wetsuits, tanks, and water sports toys. It will also be a tackle center as the owners are avid fishermen and the yacht will have a large tow behind the tender. The swim platform will include a Marquip transformer from Opacmare to be used in diving operations by the client for ease of access in and out of the water.

Her layout accommodates up to 12 guests in six staterooms, with three master cabins including a private owners suite on the upper level, a main deck master forward, and a third full-beam master located on the lower deck. The client has removed the upper helm on the sundeck and replaced it with forward-facing lounging/seating areas. A custom BBQ/grilling area will also be incorporated into the flybridge with additional counter spaces. Special attention has been given to the dining areas where the main salon, aft deck, and flybridge all have extended tables that seat up to 12 guests in comfort. Her home port will be the Sea of Cortez on the West side of Mexico.

Alex commented: "We continue to strengthen our relationship with Numarine! Denison has now sold seven 37XP models and two 40MXP models, which was only introduced to the market earlier this year, so we are confident this 'Mediterranean Explorer' will continue to grow in popularity, especially when it makes its international debut. Jeff Stanley and his clients have been fantastic and I look forward to working closely with them in the coming years as this will be a special project with a unique dive center onboard. I can't wait to see her when she's finished!"

In the last sale, Clarke shared: "The 40MXP (MXP is short for Mediterranean Explorer) is an advancement of the 37XP, where we saw a demand for ease of access to the water with a casual entertaining space on the aft section of the main deck. This design focuses on exactly that so we have replaced the beach club/garage on the 37XP with an inviting pool and complimented the space with a full-beam hydraulic swim platform. We have also increased the size of the aft deck by moving the sliding glass forward towards the bow by about two to three meters. This allows room for a large dining area, bar, and lounge area surrounding the pool."

40MXP-03 is scheduled for a July 2025 delivery.
