D-Marin, the selection of premium marinas, is set to play an active role at the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference (IWMC), 9th - 11th October. As long-time main sponsors of the event, D-Marin's executive team will be in attendance to detail its approach to marina management and will contribute to the IWMC agenda with a series of presentations and roundtable discussions.

Held at the Tivoli Vilamoura Conference Center in the Algarve, Portugal, the conference will feature esteemed speakers who will touch upon industry challenges and opportunities, equipping organisations and professionals with the insights needed to make informed business decisions and lay the groundwork for a successful future.

D-Marin will share insights on key conference topics, including sustainability, maritime tourism, coastal construction, circular economy, digitalisation, and business prospects within the marina industry.

Oliver Dörschuck, Chief Executive Officer at D-Marin, said: "The IWMC is a global event that we are passionate about supporting as part of our longstanding commitment to driving industry growth and innovation. It was a natural partnership given our ambitions and ideal place to share ideas and discuss.

I am particularly keen to provide insights on major industry trends in three areas: the creation of unique customer and digital experiences; evolution of partnerships between marinas and across the sector; and the need to build better marinas for todays and future generations."

ICOMIA was formed in 1966 to bring together in one global organisation, the national boating federations and other bodies involved in the recreational marine industry and to represent them at an international level. The ICOMIA Marinas Group seeks to improve the sharing and exchange of information with respect to the development and best practice of marinas.
