Aptly named 'Project Faberge' during her construction, Carinthia VII represents a milestone in the history of both Lürssen and the world of yachting today.
- Sold by Fraser to her new owner in 2022 just ahead of last year's MYS, Carinthia VII will be revealing the results of her extensive refit by Lürssen at its Hamburg facilities. The work includes redesigned exterior decks with new lounge and living areas and a new 12 m/39' pool and fitness room.
- Carinthia VII is now also being presented to the charter market for the very first time, represented exclusively by Fraser.
- Designed by the multi award-winning Tim Heywood, Carinthia VII is widely regarded as one of the world's first true mega yachts.
Built throughout in steel and exemplifying a level of craftsmanship, engineering and styling rarely matched even to this day, Carinthia VII has remained a hidden gem over the last 20 years with views of her interior rarely seen.
Widely regarded as one of the world's first true mega yachts with exterior lines designed by multi award-winning Tim Heywood, the influence of Carinthia VII has been felt far and wide across the yachting industry with Heywood himself commenting on how "several yachts were consequently designed and built that owe their DNA to her."
Presented for sale for the very first time in 2021, she was sold by Fraser to her new Owner in 2022 just ahead of last year's MYS.
This year Carinthia VII will be presented at the MYS by Lürssen and Fraser revealing the results of her extensive refit by Lürssen at its Hamburg facilities. The work includes redesigned exterior decks with new lounge and living areas and a new 12m/39' pool and fitness room. She will also be introduced for the first time in her 21-year history, to an eagerly awaiting luxury charter yacht market.
Quotes:
Peter Lürssen, Managing Partner of Lürssen: "I am very proud that after building Carinthia VII, we have now been able to participate in her new lease on life with an extensive refit. She remains a very particular vessel and is a testament to the solidity of our German engineering and manufacture."
Mark Duncan, Fraser Director of Business Development and Marketing: "When speaking with clients after their charters, it is fascinating to listen to which aspects of their experience resonate with them. For most it is the crew, the food, the toys and the locations that always rate highly. For some though, it is very much about the yacht itself - the layouts, design, space, features and ambiance. We suspect Carinthia VII is going to be as much a part of those after-charter dinner conversations as the unforgettable moments we know she is going to help create for those who decide to book something exceptional."
Daniela de Marco, Fraser Head of Charter Management, Europe: "Bringing any yacht to the charter market for the very first time is always a joy and a challenge. And one that we relish. It's like starting with a blank sheet of paper - creating a fresh new program built on experience with the very best charter captains and crew, the latest tenders and toys and of course, creating some personalized and exciting new itineraries with clients. To be able to create all that for such a renowned yacht as Carinthia VII, one we know well, built and refitted by such a yard and brand as Lürssen, is really a privilege and a pleasure we can't wait to deliver on."
