It's the second day of racing in Riva del Garda for the Corinthian World Cup. The event, at its first edition, has attracted seventy-five non-professional crews from twenty countries to the start line At Lake Garda.

With a Southern wind that was gradually decreasing during the afternoon, the fleet was still able to complete three races as scheduled. Competitive and very balanced regattas, as could already be seen yesterday, to the point that three different winners claimed victory in the three races: the Dutch entry Mr Henri scored the bullet in the first race, the Brazilian Three Musketeers in the second and to the American Furio in the third and last regatta of the day.

The most consistent boat of the day, is Happyyachting.com of the Swedish Pär Svärdson who, with scorings of 7-5-4, wins the Garmin Cup, awarded to the best boat in the day of Friday. Thanks to the collaboration between J/70 Italian Class and Garmin Marine Italy, during the award ceremony the crew of Happyyachitng.com will receive a Garmin Quatix 7 smartwatch for boating.

Today's balanced regattas brought about many changes in the standings, where the new leader is Gianfranco Noè's White Hawk (20-2-3 today). The Estonian entry Lenny by Toniste borthers defends the second place conquered yesterday, 11 lengths behind White Hawk. The third place of the provisional podium goes to the Australian crew of Celstial, while the Spanish Let it Be and the Brazilians of Three Musketeers complete the top-five.

With two days of racing still to go and such a competitive and balanced fleet, the games to win the first Corinthian World Cup are more open than ever. The start for tomorrow, Saturday 3 June, is scheduled for 12.30 CEST.

J/70 Italian Class is supported, for the 2023 season, by Lincoln International, Alphazer, Garmin, Armare Ropes, Serena Wines, Vela Mania, Zhik, UtilGraph, IPA and OneOcean Foundation.
