SE Careers and Trade Fit Expos © BIAV

BIAV were thrilled to participate in the SE Careers and Trade Fit Expos last week, where they were exposed to over 10,000 students from Year 10 to Year 12.

On Tuesday 9 May, the BIAV were at the South East Career Expo, where 7,000 High School students came through KCC Park at Skye, giving us a great opportunity to promote the Marine Industry and its training pathways. Special thanks to Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand, Moose Marine, Dunbier Trailers for supporting BIAV with this event.

Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 May, saw BIAV exhibiting at the Trades Fit - Young Women in Trades and Tech Expo. We are very proud to support women joining our magnificent industry and had some wonderful interest shown at this expo. Very special thanks to the inspirational women supporting BIAV at the Expo. Chloe from Sundance Marine Luxury Boat Sales, Dani from Aussie Boat Sales, Kirsty and Nicola from Nautek Marine and of course Trevor from Mercury Marine Australia & New Zealand and our own Mary Papantoniou.

Overall, both expos were a huge success, giving the BIAV exposure to not just the students, but the School Career Councillors, who are an important contributor to a student's career choice. These expos build on the invitations we have already received to 15 high school career days. A very positive outcome.
