Propspeed appoints new CEO

Propspeed, leading innovator of underwater foul-release coatings, have announced the promotion of Marcus Hamilton from the International Sales Director to the position of CEO. In his new role he will be responsible for directing all operations for the company and driving its growth and success.

With a solid understanding of the marine industry and a track record of leading international sales and marketing teams to success, as well as experience with implementing systems and processes and shifting leadership strategies to elevate and evolve businesses, Hamilton brings a wealth of expertise to his new role as CEO of Propspeed. With a strategic mindset, passion, and motivational style of leadership, Hamilton has consistently inspired his teams to exceed expectations and achieve disproportionate results.

Hamilton comes to the position with more than 10 years of experience in the marine industry, working with strong successful global marine business such as Fusion Entertainment, Garmin NZ and Propspeed International. In these 10 years Hamilton has held positions of International Marketing Manager, VP of Sales & Operations Americas, and most recently International Sales & Business Improvement Director for Propspeed International.

Propspeed products include Propspeed for running gear and any underwater metals, FoulfreeTM for transducers and LightspeedTM for underwater lighting. The latest addition to the product line is StripspeedTM, a solvent-based paint stripper for underwater metals.
