West Riding Sailing Club is pleased to be hosting the first of the 2000 class Latitude Series, 53.63N! WRSC, with a keen home fleet, are hosting two days of racing on the weekend of 1st & 2nd April.

Entries and gates will open from 8am Saturday with food available on the evening after a day of racing. Sponsored by Lakes Mortgages, the Latitude Series aims to bring the 2000 fleet north for a six race series of close racing.

Check out the details of the event here.

Compete against West Riding Sailing Club's very own Thompson Brothers and several other of WRSC's competitive 2000 sailors.

With several 2000's travelling from across the UK, the first Latitude event of 2023 is already shaping up to be a healthy opener to the Latitude Series. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be handed out on the day. And, with results from the weekend adding to overall 2000 Series results, all is to play for.

WRSC is one of the largest and oldest sailing clubs in West Yorkshire with a formidable sailing and racing history dating back to 1937.

If you're new to the club and travelling, then there's plenty to do if you fancy a long weekend after the sailing. The Peaks, Dales and Lakes are a stone's throw away, and Leeds is only a 30/40 min drive. If you fancy something more local, then why not check out the Hepworth or Yorkshire Sculpture Park, all just around the corner from WRSC.

We look forward to welcoming you to WRSC.
