Launch of the SW Regional Plan to tackle Invasive Species - Wimbleball Sailing Club 25 March 2023

by Sue Cornish 14 Mar 2023 12:55 GMT 25 March 2023

A celebration of the launch of the South West Regional Invasive Non Native Species Pathway Action Plan for Recreational Boating will be hosted by Wimbleball Sailing Club 25 March 2023.

There will be a free BBQ lunch, followed by short talks on Invasive Species, biosecurity, and the Pathway Action Plan itself.

South West Water and South West Lakes have been working closely with Wimbleball Sailing Club and others on the issue of invasive non-native species, and will be donating biosecurity kit that will see its first use at Wimbleball Sailing Club's flagship Exmoor Beastie race the following day.

Watercraft users from across the South-West are invited.

Contact with any dietary requirements by 17th March.
