Exmoor Beastie to be held on 26th March

The 2023 Exmoor Beastie race will be held on Sunday March 26 at Wimbleball Sailing Club. The "Beastie" is a 3-hour pursuit race, held in beautiful surroundings on Exmoor National Park.

The first start is at 12 noon, followed by later start times for faster boats. Entry at wimbleballsc.org.uk/open-events.htm. Open to classes with a Great Lakes handicap of 1208, or faster. Bacon butties pre-race and hot food afterwards. The Exmoor Beastie is generously sponsored by Exmoor Ales again this year and is part of the 2022/23 Sailing Southwest Winter Series. Prizes for adults and juniors (under 18).

Children and adults get a taste for the enjoyment that sailing offers Like a lot of local Clubs, Covid-19 has curtailed many Wimbleball SC activities during the first part of 2020.
