Camper & Nicholsons is delighted to confirm Giovanni Alessi Anghini's appointment as managing director of Camper & Nicholsons Middle East.

Alessi will commence this new role alongside his existing responsibilities as chief innovation and technology officer.

Camper & Nicholsons is pleased to announce the appointment of Behzad Saberi, who joins the company's Middle East operation as a senior sales advisor.

Saberi will be based in Dubai and brings over 15 years of industry experience to his role, having worked in management, charter, and new construction.

"I have always harboured a passion for the marine industry, even as a young teen, and my career began crossing oceans aboard VLCC tankers, where I attained a certificate of competency to navigate vessels of unlimited size internationally. I strive to remain abreast of technological advancements and improvements in yachting, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with clients." - Behzad Saberi

Saberi has worked in the Middle East for a number of different shipyards and yachting brands, and also holds a degree in Marine Engineering & Nautical Science.

"In recent years, the industry has seen tremendous growth in the manufacturing and sale of yachts, with great innovations, improvements in safety and enhanced comfort. For me, a good sales advisor must be professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to meeting the needs and expectations of their clients. I have built long-standing relationships with clients, partners and subcontractors. I believe in honesty and transparency." - Behzad Saberi

"We are excited to welcome Behzad to the Camper & Nicholsons family here in the Middle East. His presence will reinforce the team's regional market knowledge, widen our connections, strengthen our regional presence, and further advance Camper & Nicholsons as a global brand and provider." - Giovanni Alessi Anghini, managing director, Camper & Nicholsons Middle East.

Saberi has seen the regional growth of the yachting industry in Dubai and the Middle East first hand, and applauds the investment being made into more eco-friendly yachting initiatives, the use of solar power and electric propulsion, and promotion of sustainable tourism practices.

With Saberi's appointment to the team, Camper & Nicholsons reinforces its presence in the Gulf and the company is set to further capitalize on Dubai's increasingly important position in the international yachting industry.

The investment in infrastructure to better serve yacht owners and charters can be seen across the UAE and Dubai, with its modern marinas, is an attractive home for luxury superyachts.
