Sea Ray is kicking off the new year with the reveal of an all-new model. At the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS), Feb. 15-19, Sea Ray will host an exclusive first look at the SLX 280 Outboard at its display at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

In addition, Sea Ray will exhibit 10 models from its Sundancer, SLX, SDX and SPX families, including the SLX 260 Surf and SLX 260 Outboard making MIBS show premieres. As one of the largest boat and yacht events in the world, the Miami International Boat Show attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees with more than 1,000 exhibitors.

"This year at MIBS, we're presenting an exclusive experience for show attendees - the opportunity to be the first to see the brand-new SLX 280 Outboard," said Keith Yunger, Sea Ray president. "This boat is the latest evolution of Sea Ray's next-generation sport boats. We're also returning to MIBS with an expansive collection of boats from our 2023 lineup, including our recently launched SLX 260 Surf making its MIBS debut."

The SLX 280 Outboard showcases modern and athletic hull-side sculpting with a comprehensive range of features that elevate the boating experience. Its luxurious and ergonomic cockpit includes updated spaces with more room, improved seating and seamless storage. The U-shaped bow creates a spot for socializing with lounge-style seating, the optional Power Tower provides sun coverage and easy-to-reach wakeboard racks, and the optional cockpit table adds flexible storage. The expanded sunpad offers waterside relaxation along with an integrated cooler and a compartment to stow inflatables and gear.

For performance and control, the SLX 280 Outboard is equipped with twin Mercury® 250 hp Verado® engines with Joystick Piloting. Technology highlights include a Digital Dash™ featuring two Simrad® touchscreen displays and a Fusion® stereo. The SLX 280 Outboard can be upgraded with a variety of bundle packages to meet boater's preferences.

Also featured at the show, the SLX 260 Surf blends the next-level luxury of the SLX 260 with innovative wakesurfing technology to deliver elevated experiences for casual cruisers and thrill seekers. A surf system powered by a Mercury MerCruiser® 6.2L MPI ECT engine with a forward-facing Bravo Four S® drive generates the ideal wake for tow sports. Working in tandem with a custom user interface, electric surf tabs and ballast tanks control the height of the wave and produce a long or short pocket perfect for performing tricks. The SLX 260 Surf also presents a host of premium features, including a watersports tower with a Bimini top and a manual submersible step that facilitates access to the water.

In addition, the display at MIBS will feature the Sea Ray Inspired Design Center, giving attendees the ability to create their dream boat. The design center will offer an up-close look at exterior colors, upholstery colors, flooring options and more. Attendees can use the Build-A-Boat kiosk to choose a model, customize their options and then watch their selections come alive.

The following boats from each of Sea Ray's model series will be available at MIBS:
