Ovington Boats will once again be at Earls Court in January!

On show will be the stunning new Musto Performance Skiff and the immensely successful 29er.

This will be the first time the production MPS has been seen in public. There have been a number of prototypes and pre-production boast sailing around Europe this year and it is well documented that the MPS won every race at the ISAF evaluation trials in Quiberon last Easter. Orders for the new boat are continuing to come in thick and fast from all over Europe. A joint project with Devoti Sailing the MPS is assured a truly successful international future.

The 29er has had a spectacular first 2 years of its life to say the least! There are now nearly 500 boats around the world in over 20 countries. The first World championship attracted 65 boats from 16 nations. The 29er already has ISAF recognized status and will shortly gain full international status. It is the official RYA Youth asymmetric boat in the UK and in a number of other countries including Canada and New Zealand.

Our stand only allows us to show 2 of our boats. Other boats we currently build are; B14, The Olympic 49er, International 14, Flying Fifteen. All of which are enjoying a steady growth and tremendous racing. The success of the 49er at the Olympics has given new life to small boat racing and the class has received a real boost through the interest generated from Sydney.

We also build a number of boats for other organizations including the MRX. the Stealth Catamaran and the Mumm30.

On hand will be Dave Hall – Sales manager at Ovington and Tim Tavinor from Devoti Sailing.

Stop Press:

Latest bit of news it that we are to build the new Farr 52, the moulds arrived on the 18th of December and we expect the first boats to leave the Tynemouth yard in April.
