The dates are out for the 2023 RS Aero UK Northern Circuit with four key venues spread through the season from the Midlands to Yorkshire.

The RS Aero Class is looking to strengthen the RS Aero Northern Tour in 2023 by consolidating to 4 key events with 3 to count for the series scores. All the host clubs have strong home RS Aero fleets.

With a mix of one and two day events. RS Aero Northern Rep Cathy Lunn hopes 2023 will see greater participation and equally quality racing along with introducing some training opportunities and socials too:

"It would be great for the RS Aeros of the North and Midlands to commit and make 2023 a fantastic year for RS Aero racing in our region. Now is a great time to be thinking of joining the RS Aero fleet too, so do get in touch with RS Sailing for boats and demos available or pop along to any event and catch up with the sailors there and check out the Class."

The 2023 RS Aero UK Northern Circuit events are:

  • 15th April - Leigh & Lowton SC
  • 3/4th June - RS Aero Northern Championships, Yorkshire Dales SC
  • 15th July - Staunton Harold SC
  • 30th September - Notts County SC

In addition, with new RS Aero momentum in Scotland driven by keen RS Aero sailors and a new RS dealer in Sailingfast, the RS Aero Scottish National Championship are to be held at Dalgety Bay SC in Fife, where a good fleet has built. This will serve as an excellent early build up to the 2024 RS Aero 5 & 7 UK Nationals along the coast at East Lothian YC.
