In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and facilitated by the Hong Kong Sailing Federation (HKSF) and exclusively sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC).

This is the first time Hong Kong’s three major sailing clubs are working together on a triple sailing regatta, the first ever HKSAR 25th Anniversary Sailing Cup (HKSAR 25ASC). The three races for an important part of the HKSAR 25th Anniversary celebrations—echoing the anniversary key message of, “A New Era—stability, prosperity and opportunity.”

The HKSAR 25ASC event is a city-wide mega sailing event where boat can enter one, two or all three races. Boat crews can also team up with crews in the same district or the same division to complete all three races and obtain an overall score for the HKSAR 25ASC. Each team must comprise boats from the same division and the HKSF will the HKSAR 25A Sailing Cup based on results in all three of the races.

HHYC is proud to be part of the co-organisers and have Race 3 scheduled on Saturday, 25 June 2022, with both morning and afternoon sessions available for invited VIPs, guests, supporting organisations to come and celebrate the joy while spectating the race. We now have more than 120 boats entered and are still inviting interested sailors to actively submit their boat/ team entries by 6.00 pm, Wednesday, 22 June 2022.

This is remarkable event provides a good opportunity to show commitment in fostering a spirit of team sports and sharing throughout the community, while witnessing the birth of a new era in sailing and the excitement of one team in taking home the Overall HKSAR 25A Sailing Cup prize.
