Huk® performance fishing gear is committed to designing clothing for the hardcore angler, and no angler embodies that commitment more than Lee Livesay.

Livesay capped off an epic back-to-back win of the Simms Bassmaster Elite this past weekend at Lake Fork in Quitman, Texas. For Livesay, Championship Sunday with a final limit of 25-12 sealed the victory. With a phenomenal four-day total of 113 pounds, 11 ounces to win the Simms Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork, Livesay held off all competitors.

Despite the tournament being held on his home water, Livesay was challenged with the fishing conditions. The lake was down 5 half feet, so many of his go-to spots were out of commission. His winning strategy unfolded on the west side of the Lake Fork Creek arm, where large gizzard shad congregated over a hard bottom.

"I caught every fish today and every fish but one yesterday on a spot I found in practice that I never looked at in my life," Livesay said. "I've covered every piece of water on this lake a million times over and that's what's crazy. I didn't catch anything where I normally do."

Last year, Livesay's triple-digit final weight earned him the prestigious honor of becoming a part of the B.A.S.S. Century Club (100 pounds or more in a 5-fish/4-day B.A.S.S. Tournament.) With this year's performance, he was able to repeat that same honor. Hailing from Longview, Texas, Livesay secured the big win again in front of friends and family, making everything that much sweeter. It marked the third Elite title for Livesay, who won at Lake Fork in 2021, and Chickamauga Lake in 2020. He became the 14th angler with three Elite wins and the fourth to win Elite events in three consecutive seasons. With this win, Livesay is now qualified for the 2023 B.A.S.S. Classic.

Livesay relies on Huk's clothing to keep him cool and comfortable on the water all year long. From shirts, pants, outerwear, rainwear, and footwear, Huk has anglers covered no matter the season or pursuit.

"Huk continues to be impressed with Lee both on and off the water. He is on a roll this year and this past weekend was no exception," said Chris Russell, Marketing Director for Marolina Outdoor. "He is a fan favorite on the Bassmaster Elite Tour. We're very excited about this win for him and his family and are confident that he and other BASS anglers like him will continue to be solid ambassadors for our sport and brand."
