Plymouth Regatta 2024 Preview

The PPSA Dinghy Regatta is just round the corner. This event is open to all dinghy sailors in the port including Rookies.

Visiting classes include:

  • The National Solo Class Association
  • The Buzz Class Association
  • The GP14 Class Association
  • The Phantom Class Association
  • The International OK Dinghy British Class Association

At the Plymouth Regatta earlier in July For the first time ever, Plymouth Regatta was run from Plymouth Yacht Haven over the 13-15 July. Incorporating the Seascape 18 Nationals, a competitive J24 fleet and 2 IRC fleets, it was set to be a great weekend, with perfect weather forecast. The fleet woke to a gloriously sunny Saturday morning albeit with no breeze and after a briefing with the PRO it was decided that IRC would be split into two fleets and the fleets would wait for the breeze in the sound.
