Gtechniq, global leader in the detailing industry, announced today two new premium protective coatings tailored specifically for the marine environment, Marine Ceramic Base and Marine Ceramic Top. The flagship coatings in the Gtechniq Marine product line, Marine Ceramic Base and Marine Ceramic Top ensure a "better than showroom" look after a boat has been detailed and the ability to retain the gloss and color depth an owner expects.

Gtechniq's innovative Ceramic Base forms the new functional surface of the boat by way of a permanent chemical covalent bond to a boat's gelcoat or topcoat. This new surface provides excellent gloss and color retention, tremendous anti-fading properties, and a much easier surface to clean. Ceramic Base also provides the perfect base layer for the application of Ceramic Top. Available in 50ml and 250ml bottle sizes, Ceramic Base is priced at $119.95 and $494.95, respectively.

Building on the unparalleled benefits of Ceramic Base, Gtechniq Ceramic Top layers on top of Ceramic Base to offer class-leading dirt-repellency, gloss, surface slickness, ease of cleaning, and provides an exceptionally strong anti-static function to help keep surfaces dust-free. It also contains additional UV inhibitors to help prevent premature fading and enhance color retention. Ceramic Top is available in 50ml and 250ml bottle sizes and priced at $104.95 and $449.95, respectively.

Complemented by Gtechniq Marine maintenance products like UV Wash, Water Spot Remover, Interior Cleaner and Rinse-On Ceramic, owners can count on years of surface protection, great color retention, and a boat that is much easier to clean.

"Our premium ceramic coatings have been specially formulated for the marine environment to protect and enhance the natural shine of fiberglass," said Jay Bentley, Business Development Manager - Marine, Gtechniq North America. "Whether your vessel is a yacht or a personal watercraft, our Base and Top coatings are easy to apply and guaranteed to enhance your ownership experience."

Entering its 21st year of business as a global leader in the detailing industry, Gtechniq launched its marine division in 2020. As boats become more advanced and owners become more discerning, Gtechniq Marine products ensure the surfaces of a boat maintain their showroom look and luster.
