After the spectacular launch on 15 January, M/Y RIO, the latest true custom steel and aluminium work of art by CRN, has passed her first set of sea trials with flying colours.

The new 62-metre motor yacht set out from the Ancona Superyacht Yard for a series of trials and functional tests. These initial inspections, performed by CRN's team of highly specialised engineers and technicians in cooperation with external specialists, verified the yacht's standards of excellence, design, build quality and her elevated levels of performance and comfort.

The M/Y RIO was designed and built by CRN in close collaboration with design and architecture studio Omega Architects, who created the exterior concept, and designers Pulina Exclusive Interiors for the styling inside. TWW Yachts is representing the Buyer, whereas TWW Yacht Management is providing integral technical consultancy, survey and project management supervision throughout the final stages of the construction process.

With a gross tonnage of 1,218 and at 62 metres long and 11.2 metres in the beam, this new bespoke yacht ranges over 4 decks and can accommodate up to 12 guests within the owner's suite, located on the main deck, and an additional 5 guest cabins (including 2 VIP). One VIP on the Main deck forward, the other on the lower deck aft, and with the remaining 3 cabins on the lower deck. The yacht is fitted with 2 Caterpillar 3512C engines and offers a top speed of 15 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots.

The M/Y RIO is a unique bespoke opus with a strong artisanal stamp - a supremely sporty vessel with flowing hull lines and a near-vertical bow. The yacht fully reflects the personality of an owner with a passion for life on-board. There is an outstanding distribution and quality of light and space, with large and luminous indoor and outdoor living areas. She will provide a shared cruising experience like no other.
