The Livestream coverage of Race 2 in the JJ Giltinan starts at 2:20pm (Sydney time) as it does every race day, and the commentary starts at 2:30 featuring Andrew Buckland, Peter Shipway and Jim Bury from the SailMedia team, who are on the water and following the action.

Our mid-morning report says it is raining heavily with next to no wind - a challenging day for the skiffs and commentary team.

There are no New Zealand boat competing in the event, due to COVID restrictions - which were partially only lifted last week permitting NZ entrants back into their country of residence without having to undergo a $3,100 stay each in managed Isolation and Quarantine - assuming they could obtain a place in the MIQ lottery of 30,000 Kiwis trying to get one of the 3,000 spots on offer.

The Race schedule is as follows - all race coverage starts at the same time 2.20pm each race day, unless otherwise advised.

  • Race 1 Saturday - Completed
  • Race 2 Sunday
  • Layday Monday
  • Race 3 and 4 Tuesday
  • Race 5 and 6 Wednesday
  • Race 7 Thursday

  • Layday Friday

  • Race 8 Saturday
  • Race 9 Sunday
