The 2022 Fred Hall Show is alive and well and set for the very first week of March. In April we'll participate in the Retiring Offshore Rigs Summit, put on by California Artificial Reef Enhancement Program and the Orange County Coast Keeper. And more...

After navigating 2021 in fits and starts, 2022 is shaping up to be a more defined, straightforward affair. The Sportfishing Conservancy will kick off the year at the Hall Show, highlighting the value of improved habitat both coastal and offshore. Stop by the booth and take a spin for a chance at some great Bass Pro Shops swag including a daily rod and reel give-away, while supporting marine conservation. It's free to enter, just follow us on social media and keep up to date on fishing and conservation fronts. Oh, and a very special thank you goes out to the Rancho Bass Pro Shop for their help.

April promises to be a busy time for us with both our Carpinteria Surf Classic, held in concert with Danny's Deli's April long surf perch tournament, then with the Retiring Offshore Rigs (reefing) Summit set for Newport Beach. The Surf Classic will follow our fall format, but benefit South Coast Habitat Restoration for their restoration and enhancement work in the Santa Barbara county watershed. The Retiring Rigs Summit is a product of CARE and the OC Coast Keeper and we are happy to assist in their important habitat work. The Summit will take place April 21 at the iconic Balboa Pavilion. Stay tuned for more details.
