X Shore (www.xshore.com), the Swedish technology company behind a game-changing generation of fully-electric, connected boats has partnered with M Yachts (m-yachts.com), the global yacht management company, making the Eelex 8000 the first high-speed electric boat to be commercially available on the German market. This milestone will be marked at this year's Kieler Woche (www.kieler-woche.de), dubbed "the biggest sailing event in the world", where the boat will be exhibited until the 12th of September.

By making the Eelex 8000 commercially available, M Yachts and X Shore can begin to satisfy the growing demand among an increasingly sustainability focused German customer base for smart, high-speed electric boats. Made in Sweden, the Eelex 8000 is 100% electric; producing zero fumes and noise, minimising the impact on waterways and marine life. Its features also include a proprietary mobile and smartwatch app, which unlocks and turns on the boat when in range, smart overboard detection and geo-fencing software.

Since being founded in 2015, M Yachts has become a leader in the global high-end yachting industry, making the ownership and chartering of yachts easier than ever before. M Yachts will provide the expertise and passion to introduce the Eelex 8000 to this new market, engage with a broader customer base and make comfortable and clean boating more accessible and popular for all. Following Kieler Woche, an Eelex 8000 will be situated in Hamburg, Northern Germany, with another in Munich, Southern Germany, both available for those who wish to experience X Shore and the future of boating.

Commenting on the partnership, Jenny Keisu, CEO of X Shore, said: "The M Yachts team shares our passion for sustainability and growing the electric boating market in Europe and we are thrilled to be joining forces with them to bring the Eelex 8000 to the upcoming Kieler Woche, one of the most prestigious events in the boating calendar, and the wider German market. Our main goal is to achieve a future where every boat is electric and we are delighted that M Yachts are joining us on this journey."

Jan Ole Hagen, CEO & Co-Founder of M Yachts, added: "We are delighted to be debuting the Eelex 8000 to the German market at this year's Kieler Woche. The interest in fully electric boats is increasing in Germany and Central Europe and we look forward to fulfilling this demand, whilst continuing to drive forward our support for sustainability in the recreational boating industry."

The X Shore Experience

M Yachts will be at Kieler Woche with the Eelex 8000, which will be available for test rides, combining sustainable boating with high speed sailing and the power of silence. Please contact Arno Böhnert for further information and to arrange to be part of the experience: .
